Dr. Amy Howland
Dr. Howland is a 2007 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up on a small farm in North Central Kansas. After working in a busy mixed animal practice for 3 years, they decided to return to the area to raise their family. She has owned and operated her solo mobile small animal practice since 2010, servicing two counties for the last 14 years. In this time, she has honed her internal medicine skills and learned that she has a passion for palliative care in her elderly patients, as well as helping owners transition through those difficult end of life decisions.

In her free time, Dr. Amy enjoys being a wife, and mother to her two daughters, gardening, canning and preserving food, fishing, camping, caring for her own elderly pets, and volunteering for many community/church activities and boards.

Dr. Howland is excited to join the Hannah Pet Hospital team and be able to help more pets and their families enjoy the most of their time together through the advancement of telemedicine.

Dr. Katherine Gray, BS

I have wanted to be a veterinarian ever since I knew that such a career existed. I am a native of Boston, Massachusetts and received my Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Boston College in 1994 and then my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University in 1998. After graduation, I moved to Vermont to practice a mix of dairy, equine, and small animal medicine. After three years of mixed animal practice, I shifted my focus to exclusive small animal medicine practice as it allowed me to focus more time on both internal medicine and soft tissue surgery cases, which are both particular areas of interest to me. One of the most enjoyable aspects of veterinary medicine to me has always been client education and mentoring future veterinary and veterinary technician students and this made me realize the passion I also had for education. Because of this, I decided to “go back to school” and pursue an additional degree in education and for the last ten years, have maintained dual licensures in veterinary medicine and education. In my spare time, I find every opportunity to be outdoors, and my favorite outdoor activities include kayaking, camping, gardening, fishing, hiking, and snowmobiling.
